ROLE:
VFX Artist, Concept Artist
Tools:
Photoshop, After Effects, Mocha
Project Description:
2016
In 2016, I was honored to work as the exclusive VFX artist on the music video "Jamala-1944", which was the triumphant winner of the Eurovision song contest 2016.
As the sole VFX artist, I was responsible for a range of critical tasks, including compositing, matte painting, rotoscoping, and camera tracking. I played a key role in the post-production process by applying these techniques to integrate the live-action footage seamlessly with digital elements, creating a vivid and striking visual narrative.
To achieve the desired results, I used software tools, such as Photoshop, After Effect and Mocha, and collaborated closely with the director and the rest of the team.
Overall, this experience allowed me to hone my skills as a VFX artist and gain valuable insights into the collaborative nature of film and music production. I remain proud of the work that we accomplished on this project and continue to apply these lessons to my current work.
